Russian Home-Made Mustard

 
Powdered mustard 130 g
Water 0.5 cup
3% vinegar 0.5 cup
Sunflowere oil, 3 tbsp
Sugar 2 tbsp.
Salt 1 tsp
Bay leaf, cinnamon, and clove to taste
 

Put the sugar, salt, 1 bay leaf, clove, and cinnamon in hot water. Boil well, strain and pour the liquid into the powdered mustard, stirring thoroughly all the while. Add the vegetable oil and vinegar. Stir well. The mustard paste will be ready in several hours.
