Garlic Butter

 
Butter 250 g
Garlic 2-10 cloves
Salt 1/4 tsp

If you love garlic add 10 cloves to 1 packet of butter. If you just want a tang of garlic, add 2  or 5 cloves.

You can add whatever you like to taste
Coriander 10-30 g
Basil 10-30 g
Parsley 10-30 g
Dill 10-30 g
Oregano 10-30 g
Spring onion or chives 10-30 g
Black pepper to taste
 

1.

Take the pack of butter out of the fridge for an hour, so the butter is extra soft. Finely chop your garlic cloves up using a knife or grater. Don’t worry about how neat it looks. Some people recommend adding the garlic to a blender:

Chop fresh herbs. Smoosh them together with a spatula, fork or blender the ingredients you've chosen in a large bowl:

Transfer your garlic butter into a serving dish or a fridge-friendly storage container for later use:

Garlic butter great on barbequed steaks, pasta, rice or potatoes. You can use any butter or margarine you like.
