Beef Stroganoff

Beef 400 g
Onion 1
Mushrooms 100 g
Mustard 1 tbsp
Beef stock 100 ml
Soured cream 200 g
Salt, pepper to taste


  • Peel the onion and cut into thin slices. Heat the butter and oil in a large frying pan and cook for 5 min. Cut the beef into strips about 5 cm/2 inches long and 2-5 cm/1 inch in width and thickness;

  • Add to onion and cook for 10 min. Stir continually, so the food does not become brown:

  • Cut the mushrooms into thin slices;

  • Add to meat;

  • Add the mustard, stock;:

  • Add soured cream;

  • Stir well and cook for 5 minutes:

Serve this dish with cooked potatoes or:

  • couscous

  • pasta

  • rice
